My goal was to isolate and secure home appliances while maintaining remote monitoring and control through a web interface and MQTT as the messaging protocol.
- Got hands-on knowledge with tools like ThingSpeak, Node-RED, and O-AUTH to facilitate the integration and visualization of the data.
- The implementation of the system and the web interface has exposed me to the many steps of the product development cycle and how to manoeuvre and overcome the obstacles that are encountered along the way.
